Replying to Do higher flex Full Tilt tongues make a noticeable difference?

I just got some 2014 Drop Kicks (#6 flex tongue) and I'm wondering if people know from experience whether getting higher flex tongues makes a noticeable difference? I'm used to pretty soft boots as my old boots were beaten to shit and pretty soft to begin with but I'm wondering if I end up deciding I want them to be a bit stiffer whether getting a #8 or #10 tongue would be worthwhile.
