Frustration while learning new tricks

Backstory: Began to really get into park about 2 months prior to the end of the season. Didn't learn too much; 7's, rail grinds, front 2's off. My friends and I built a summer setup, msnow to a 6ft metal rail, but I can't seem to get it. Today I went out by myself and hit the rail about 100 times, with only about 5 good slides. I know how to hit rails (for the most part), but i'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong.

What im asking is how do you guys deal with frustration? How do you guys deal with being so fucking frustrated that you bend your pole smashing it on the ground?

Laugh it off, try sliding it 50-50 for the shitzels. Go out there to have fun, tricks will come without even thinking.

When I got frustrated my brother told me that summer setups are both frustrating, and challenging. What else can you expect from a summer jib? Jibs are usually pretty sketchy. But it will help you improve even if it does't seem like it to you. Your rail balance will improve and you'll be ready for this season. No worries man, keep at it.

Maybe you are looking at it the wrong way? Enjoy skiing tricks come the more you just have fun. Try random shit you wouldn't normally and the slide will get there.

I'm not sure about the landing 7's in two months, but I like to think that summer setups are to keep the jive going and not to actually progress too much on. Just have a good time and now snow is on the way.

Love the casual 7 claim OP...keep that up for sure. On the real though when I get frustrated I like to take a 50-50/spread eagle lap, make skiing a joke, I mean I guess you can't do those on a summer set up but when you get back on snow try that. On a rail that short its probably very hard to commit to because you just don't have enough time... anyway look at the end, feet wider than you think, more pressure on your front foot than you think, turn a full 90 degrees. When the snow comes you'll pick it up a lot faster.
