Where do you buy your music?

I don't like to torrent everything, but $1.29 isn't my cup of tea either. I used to use http://www.gomusicnow.com, but it got shut down so that probably wasn't the best choice either....

What site do you use to download your music?

I used to torrent music for my iTunes library. Now i stream it in spottily. Who buys music anymore?

P.S I do buy some music, if theres tiny bands i want to support, but i usually do by attending their concerts anyways.

$5/mo for college students. You really can't beat it.

But when I buy CDs (mainly for my car and I like having physical copies), I get them at my local music store at home, Bullmoose.

I used to torrent everything, but I don't any more for multiple reasons:

1. #supporttheindustry.
2. It's 10 times easier and faster than torrenting. I literally search the song/artist and bam, I can play or save the songs right there nearly instantly. No need to wait for downloads or worry about viruses.
3. I can search and play anything on the go on my phone. No more searching YouTube only to wait for it to buffer. Perfect to have for the car.
4. Finding new music is 10x easier and is much more enjoyable. Going from related artist to related artist, for example, finding new music is a breeze. I can spend hours doing this just for fun.
5. It frees up a ton of space on my computer.
6. It's $5 a month. That is literally pocket change.

I'll buy full albums, download shitty rap mixtapes on datpiff, or hit up podcasts and mixes. If I just want an individual song I'll use flvto.com.

I had to send in proof. At MSU we have a thing called degreeworks and it shows what credits you are taking and blah blah blah. I just sent them a picture so I could easily photoshop your name on it if you wanted to get the student discount.

On a somewhat similar note, premium Spotify is so worth the $5. No ads and saving playlists offline is very nice.

I also used to torrent all my music. I still have 40,000 songs on my hard drive from CD's friends computers and torrenting. However, Spotify is just so much easier.

Subscription service, works out to about 40 cents a song. Selection is independent labels only, so gets frustrating sometimes.

Record stores $1 cd section.

so you insist on paying for your music but you don't want to pay full price
doesnt really make sense. if it's about supporting the artists then you should note that most get a few cents from every album you buy full price so trying to find the cheapest music you can pay for isnt really helping. but whatever helps you sleep at night
