Help me pick my volkls!

So I cant decide which volkls I'm gonna order on my prodeal.

Here are the combos i've had in mind for a park/ all mnt. and all mnt/pow setup:

Wall 177
Gotama 178/ 186

or

bridge 178
One 186


Im mostly skiing at Loon, Killington, Sunday river. Also id prob put barons on my fat skis so i can have the option to skin (but maybe not). Thoughts are welcome!

Whats your style in the park? I would ride a wall at the river and loon with my style of going fast and not really buttering or surface swaping. I really like the wall for full camber pop and grip on ice. If you dont sound like this look into the step or ledge if you are a light weight.

The bridge is a really fun ski that can handle a pow day out east but lacks grip on ice and feels a bit dead due to lack of camber but im not a fan of rocker skis out east but the bridge was a rockered ski that i didnt mind being on.

Just as a heads up patrol and my buddy who is a lift ops supervisor at the river have had a ton of delam issues with the goats. My buddy is on his third warranty pair if goats due to the edge underfoot delaming from the sidewall

im (not t boast) a very high speed skier when ski most stuff, and I'm not doing a ton of rails mostly jumps and carving but some boxes and rails from time to time, and i def want grip on ice so i think the wall would be better for that because of the camber (had kinks last year which were great on ice)

i don't mind delay if its covered on warranty. the gotamas would be a better pow ski that the bridge i think

I ride walls and they're the best park skis I've ever owned. They're super durable. I beat the shit out of them last year, and besides a few top sheet chips, they're in great condition. The bases hold up real well too.

Sounds like you will be happier with walls. For the pow skis I really liked the flex of the Ones but haven't ridden them so yea...

I've never flexed them side by side but I would image the one flexes a bit softer, total speculation on my part as I've only spent a little bit of time on goats. The one is still substantial for its shape and should have no problems riding cut up resort pow. The ones are definitely surfier and lend themselves to more playful riding.

In Boston ski expo last year I flexed the whole line of park and free ride sticks. I would say the ones are way too soft for east coast IMO but I like stiff skis and the gotama I would need to see to remember which ones they were

If you're worried about skiing groomers the 108 goat is pretty fat underfoot too. You have a quiver for a reason, back east a ski like the wall should cover all the park/groomer/bumps you can handle. The other nice thing about the one is they pivot well, and if you ski trees that might interest you.

if you're skiing fast, do the Wall and Gotama.

Walls are a sick park ski and are good for most stuff at the hill. The Gotama is essentially a narrower version of the Shiro. Not symmetrical but will rip the shit out of pow/crud.

I'm skiing a 186 Gotama with Jesters this year in Ontario since I don't ride much park anymore.

The Bridge/One combo will have too much overlap and the One is a really soft ski so not great for charging.
