wolfbackpackI understand it isn't the best outerwear out there, but I've seriously used my jackets less than 5 times together and my gloves 1 time.
El_Barto.doesnt cost much more.

COOOOPObviously he is rich and throws 100s around like they are singles.
Dr.Nitrog3nI've always known saga to be really hit and miss as far as durability goes, also it just looks bad.
.LincolnI have a question I hope one of you can answer. How does bloom outerwear compare to saga? Looking at picking up a jacket from there

[tk]Not sure if I can answer this completely because I only have 1 saga jacket that I haven't used yet, but I love my bloom jacket. About the same quality from what I can tell, and perfect length for me. Also lovin the magnetic hood and the pockets on it. Also I haven't seen a single kid on the hill with a bloom jacket so far, so it's definitely unique. I would recommend.
parkplaygroundFrom seeing and wearing both saga and bloom, I liked the waterproofing on the saga stuff more but I would say bloom had nicer material that was more durable and overall a better anatomical fit(atleast for me)
StoseThey are very comparable. Bloom is a little lighter
GrumpisPringleIf I saw someone wearing fulltilts, on pair of the latest jskis and head to toe saga I would could very well presume that they suck. (except steve stepp, the only exception thus far).
BieberHole69Giray Dadali.
GrumpisPringle13-15 year old love saga. (generalizing) Saga is a lot of hype and to me it is a fan-boy company. If I saw someone wearing fulltilts, on pair of the latest jskis and head to toe saga I would could very well presume that they suck. (except steve stepp, the only exception thus far).
kung_powpowThis is some of the dumbest shit I have ever seen
GrumpisPringlecare to expand on that? I think what I said is true. 13-15 year olds generally do like saga. I have friends who suck ass at skiing but think that they are better for wearing saga. They think saga instantly makes them better. The same reason they think they need full tilts and want jskis. How are generalized facts the dumbest shit you have ever seen?
Stosebecause you called saga a fanboy hype company. that shits dumb. They have tons of styles to try to cater to many different types of people, they have very well respected and talented athletes riding for them, and guess what? yeah many people do like saga, but that doesn't make them fanboys. I see just as many 20 year olds riding with saga as I do 13 year olds, if not more.
GrumpisPringleI think your blowing my comment out of proportion. I didn't say that saga was restricted to prepubescent gapers. I just said that saga does cater to their gapertastic needs.
With that said I do agree that saga's team is fuckin stacked and many adults shred in pieces of saga clothing. What I was trying to get across is that I hate it when I see a 13 yearold wearing full saga, fulltilts that don't fit him, and some j's on his feet, literally.
I wasn't trying to say that saga's only demographic is a bunch of fanboy little kids. I was just trying to say that I don't like the fanboy little kids.

I just picked up a sabek jacket. The thing is bomb. everything looks really high quality. I haven't been able to test durability yet for obvious reasons but still stoked to try it out. Black diamond stuff is always good too.
I've only heard good things from arcteryx but the style isn't for me.
I do own pieces of saga outerwear/clothing. They are comfortable. Also they are very branded. The durability is hit and miss. for me it has been decent.
The cool thing about saga though is when you wear a saga hoodie or a t shirt off the hill people know that you ski park. And when I see a saga sticker on the back of a car I know the people inside are at least apart of the new-school community
brotoI generally judge a person's skill level by how they ski
camstainI thought saga was sweet like 4-5 years ago, now I wouldn't even consider getting something from them. I switched to Orage and was dumbfounded with how much nicer their outerwear is. IMO whenever I think of Saga I picture kids that are just barely in high school or someone that just started freestyle.
Saga. Not trying to toot our own horn here but our products have come a loooonnnggg way since 4 or 5 years ago. Hopefully someday you and any other people who have had less than stellar experiences will get a chance to try us out again.
What I'm alluding to is that we've for several years been trying to figure out a way to do on hill demos for outerwear like ski manufacturers do. So far the only limitation is having the staff for the events. But hopefully as we grow we can make this a reality soon. Currently the only people who get to test outerwear are industry publications. Everyone should get a chance.

Mr.PenguinFan-boy, hype, whatever other nonsense aside, I feel like you cant really hold it against Saga. Most of the big outerwear companies top of the line jackets are running $700+ it's really tough to compare a companies jacket that costs $299 to say a $700 Patagonia jacket. A lot of the Saga stuff is at a price point, and to get to that price point you have to make some sacrifices. That being said, I have never owned a Saga 2 or 3L jacket, just feel it should be noted that some of these big outerwear companies have set the standard for winter outerwear extremely high.
