Backyard setup question...

so idk why ive waited so long to build a setup ... its almost november lol but im wondering how steep i need to make my ramp. so my platform is 10ft tall , 8ft wide, and 6ft long. its pretty tall so im wondering how steep i should make the drop in. i dont have the money for msnow, so ill just be using normal turf with water. any help / suggestions when building my setup will get lots of k++

Use gardening fencing for the drop in and turf for the kicker before the rail. I would make it at a 80 degree angle because it will seem alot steeper when you actually hit it on skis. Another tip is have a decently long drop in.

^ This ^ Definitely use lattice work for the drop in because it's similar to msnow but can accelerate much faster, and it's cheap too. Also the long inrun helps too, gives you more time to get set up.

80 degrees is steep as hell, like skiing down a wall steep. You won't need anything else for speed, 10 feet is huge. Mine is 6 feet and I get enough speed. After your initial drop, make a slight downhill run up, it helps set up for the rail. A long ramp is a nice ramp, make transitions easy, too sharp an it'l destroy speed

80 is almost completely vertical... I think 45 would be better.

45-50 degrees is seriously all you need. just lean up some plywood and see how steep 45 degrees really is. it's steeper than you think and you'll have plenty of speed at the height of your drop in. i would honestly advise from going any steeper
