I don't know how many of you follow the sport called "snowboarding", but let's see who you think is one in the same for each sport. I'll start with an obvious one.
Candide is to skiing, as Travis Rice is to snowboarding.
You really can't compare those two, other than the fact that they're both from Qc. The Deja Vu guys are some of the best jibbers in the world, and they've had and still have a lot of influence on the urban scene. Tabarnak Pack is nowhere near that level.
No, here my out. They were both fairly under rated coming into the olympics, both clenching the last spot on the team .Then they both come out and kill it.

Obviously the guys from Deja Vu are sliding metal at the highest level that snowboarding has ever seen but the Tabarnak pack guys are pretty close to that too. Some of the stuff that they are doing is stuff that has never been done in skiing before, some of the Caribou grinds are the craziest shit ive seen in awhile. Whether their influence is as big or wide reaching is another question.

So the Tabarnak pack guys are some of the best rail skiers out there? Come on, they're good but they haven't progressed much if you look at their older stuff. Dom's for sure one of the best at switch but his skiing is very predictable, he's been doing those tricks for quite some time now. Marty, Dandurand and Seb Eaves, they're sick, but all these guys have peaked. I don't see them as people who are influencing rail skiing.
Both sponsored by target, both are huge icons in the sports that they are in and both are also seen as "idols" to the public. Tell me they aren't the same.
