Since the camera work was honestly not that great, the 2:35 aspect was a super dumb decision. Only crop like that if you do it for a certain, valid reason or if the cinematography warrants it. Otherwise it just looks bad.

Great input my friend, I agree the crop is aggressive but I was attempting (maybe poorly) to use a real big crop. Never tried 3:00:1 on FCP but thought I'd give it a try! Thanks again

If you watch the video on Vimeo it is properly cropped so that the black bars are gone, looks much better IMO!

Did Michael J Fox film it? Semi-joking. Some sort of stabilization would help a ton. Also, what story are you trying to tell? Seemed kind of haphazard to me, especially with the music. The overall tone just made it seem kind of unorganized. Lastly, why all black/letting the song run out? I could see if it is a fade away but those are like 3 seconds, not 30. I know sometimes you don't want to put subpar shots just to take up space, or maybe you just didn't want to clip the song, but audio is 50% of video, and your sound needs to match with the visuals. Just wanted to add a note at the end that this does sound kind of harsh, so don't take it too personally, because this is how you learn, and you do show potential.
