My copy of the Game is melted: I need help

Yeah well, as a wonderful Early Christmas gift, my only copy of The Game( a totally awesome old ski movie by PBP) was partially melted(sarcasm). It is melted on 1 on the sides of the tape, the short sides actually. I don't think the actual magnetic tape is hurt or destroyed, unless heat kills it. My question is: Is there anyway I can get this tape fixed so I can watch it again, because I am so pissed right now. thanks.
I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

yeah im pretty sure they can take the tape and put it in a new cassette, however, i dont know where you would go about getting this done.

I feel your pain though, a few months back someone taped over my 'Carving the White' (killer moguls, RAP films, Terje's big debut, crazy neon suits descending crazy white cliffs) with CNN of all things. Boy that put a damper on my viewing...

oh yeah and the other thing is I could have bought a second copy for 75 cents. I didn't have a clue what the game was when I bought it, I just knew about PBP. I didn't buy a second one because I didn't think anything would happen to the first. Ahhhhhh, this sucks so much.
