Your favourite under the radar resorts in the Alps

There are hundreds of resorts in the Alps and there are many places that you've never even heard of where you can ski untracked pow for days. Do you guys have any experience on under the radar resorts? What are your favourites?

My absolute favourite is Stuben in Austria, with just 3 lifts but massive terrain and touring potential.

I'm interested in places like these and I might be making a trip to such resorts in feb.

Zauchensee in Salzburgerland, 10 minutes from Atomic HQ. Whenever our athletes come visit, it's the first place they want to go to. Awesome in-bounds terrain and quick access to some legit gnar.

Sonnenkopf, a hour or so from st. Anton, you will have every line in the pow for yourself there. Only downside is that besides the mountain nothing else exists there.

is that place that has a sort of underground grotto at the bottom? skied there once, was very good.

Yep- there's an semi-underground parking area and you can take the escalator from the ticket/rental/food area up to the lifts. Skier's right of the gondola has some awesome, steep tree skiing.

So much good skiing in salzburgerland, I think not this season coming but next I will try and get my hands on a camper and spend a month or two exploring. Even the smallest of hills have some amazing skiing.
