it depends on their height dude, just like any other skier. then your preferences and riding style influence it from there. start with your height, then add or subtract length based on that

i mean.. i think he's taller than 5'6", and ive def seen him on 176s. but no matter, your point is to size up a little on skis which i agree with

Not as big as you would think generally. Most pros are pretty small still so most are not on the longest lengths. For park the stronger skiers tend to go up to the longer size but this is more to do with the sort of size of feature they are hitting. But even the big mountain guys are not on huge skis. Salomon made some 190+ skis for some of the taller big mnt guys but they actually ended up using the high 180 skis just like they sell. But it will ultimately be personal preference. I mounted some skis for a female ripper who was 5'2 but she was on 176's and loved them.
