Get the Griffon. The Squire is essentially a kids binding with 2 options, "boot in" and "boot out" whereas the Griffon provides some elastic tension so it will be better dealing with harder switch landings. In the end, you get what you pay for and the Squire is nothing but a cheap binding.

I just picked up the Griffons yesterday at my local shop. It's defnitely the most recommended binding on NS, and the shop owner uses Griffons on both his DPS and race skis. I put them on my Atomic Punx.
Like they said above, the Griffons are really in a different class than the Squires due to lateral movement which reduces the occurrence of pre releases, allowing you to keep your DIN at the proper setting. Griffons are also a lot more burly than Squires.
