I'm gonna be living in sugarhouse for a few months this winter and will not have a car....so i figured public transportation will be sufficient, however I was wondering if the roads are generally bike-able during the winter.... east coast roads are usually icy sandy shit shows, is it the same in salt lake city?

for the most part, they do a pretty great job of keeping the roads dry down in the valley. SLC is bike-able year round, I'd say. just bundle up for the ride, there were some brutally-cold days last winter.
