Replying to Ughh ski boots.
So last season it was time to buy some new boots. I went through two different styles (salomon, lange) before I finally landed on the Full Tilt Soul sister. My feet are not particulary narrow but for some reason they just work for me. The bigggest issue I have... I constantly get cramps in my arches while standing still or riding lifts. They are a dream to ski and walk in but anything stationary is brutal. WTF. I've tried just pulling the insole out and rocking just a liner ( this solved the issue) but I feel like I have less control, less surface contact in the boot.
SO to all the ladies out there rockin the ft's whats the verdict?
Insoles with liner? Just liner? Insoles under the liner (I've heard of some dudes doing this.) Just striaght up drugstore insole?
When I bought my full tilts at christy sprots, they told me I HAD to get insoles, that intuition liners came without them to encourage custom...later on a full tilt dealer in Breck told me that couldnt be further from the truth. I really dont want to give up on my ft's but I'm also seeking boot heaven. Thoughts?
