Replying to Custom Made Footbeds

Hey people.

I tried using the search button without major success. I currently ride a pair of Fischer Fuse 9 (vacuum) and i plan on taking them with me all over the mountain for the next 6 months. They fit snug and nicely and they threat my feet well (never had pain issues in them). My local dealer, however, still strongly suggested getting custom footbeds made. Is this really worth it or does the man just want my money :)?

Also, i really believe they are better at making the custom footbeds in Val D'isere than they are in my flat country without any skiing possibilities...
