zzzskizzzRich doesn't mean having millions of dollars in your bank account, being that you own a pickup truck and have called it "your car" your family is definitely well off not poor, maybe not rich. What does skiing cost nowadays 70-90$ a day. Middle, upper middle and the rich are the 99% of people on the ski mountain. Poor people are too busy working on the weekends and can't afford a seasons pass along with 400+$ worth of equipment.
Can we just fuckimg stop already? If you arent that well off you arent buying 70-90 tickets. You can buy a season pass and go to that mtn all year. Its not that hard to get a job and save some moneh. Better yet get a job at a ski area and get a free pass plus get paid.
I just bought a pair of public enemies with bindings for $31, have been using pants i paid$20 for and a coat j paid $40 for. Not saying ive never dropped loot on gear but tjred kf this argument that you have to be rich to ski. Location is the most imortant thing. It doesnt matter if a lot if kids on here kr well off, you dont have to be rich to ski. About to start my 13 th season working at ski areas. Been doing it since i was 14. Also did some work here and there in the summer since maybe 13.
Skiing can be verh expensive but it can most definitely be done on a budget. And a budget doesnt mean youre missing out. You can get a pretty full skiing experience for not that much money.
