Mrossi99any idea for an opening day
yes. we will have one.
haha
ugh..,.
so this weather pattern is actually typical.... the hard part is how close we came to adding an entire month to our ski season, only to have it beaten out of us by rain and warmer than marginal snow making temps...
on the plus side, we;re not far off from being ready. piles of snow last, and we're one good, REPEAT GOOD, night away from opening.
Canyon Run, Nor Easter, Temptor, Stinger, Exhibition, and little Joe are the opening trail plans. Park wise, its foolish to plan anything until we see what we have for base and play snow. obviously, and especially with a new trail, we will do our best to impress.
on a up tick note, i learned stick welding finally, so rail maintenance no longer requires shop space. yay.... that means, with all of this NOT being open, a new feature can be made soon
to my friend who says Sundown blows.... well no fucking shit it's not mount snow or any other Northern New England mountain.
For those of you stuck skiing sundown the entire winter, i welcome you to my life.
Hopefully though, you can enjoy the hill a few times a week and get up north a couple times a month to actual mountains. that obviously is the end game of getting better at the sport...
I promise, there isn't a lot of dicking around and wasting time... unless it snows a foot, then go screw yourself, i'm skiing powder for a few hours, as i don't get up north, ever.
