The season is fast approaching, perhaps pre-season shred has already begun.
SO what did you accomplish today on the mountain? Land a new trick? Shred a sick line? Something else cool? Post it up here!

Minggahhh! I bet! I built a summer set up last summer and I plan to take full advantage of it this summer! I'm so excited! And usually people wouldn't be so excited about not landing something but fuck I am so happy I tried it instead of going until next winter wishing I would have!
CyanicenineManaged to get a better shot with better lighting over the weekend. https://www.newschoolers.com/photo/767603.0/Stalefish-on-the-last-day-of-the-season?c=1&o=10
JoJo-yI slammed a few times before I brought the 7 around but I'm pretty stoked on this.

CyanicenineOoh I've got one that might help someone out there. I finally figured out how to grab mute consistently. For the last 2 years I've really sucked at getting that grab, and I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I always thought you had to bring your knee straight up, but doing that makes it hit your rib cage and then your arm is barely in reach of your ski edge.
The key seems to be to tilt your knee outwards like you would if you were about to sit on the ground cross legged. Doing this, rather than pulling your leg straight up, lets you get your opposite foot/ski closer to your hand and suddenly the grab is about 10 times easier.
Also watching Jake Muller tutorials has made my switch skiing not suck nearly as much. I'm starting to get a much better staggered stance, and I've stopped trying to link turns and am just trying to get good at blasting down the fall line and then throwing a quick speed scrub without going off course. Link shows my stance improvement: http://imgur.com/a/jPXNv
I've increased my field of view significantly.
MinggFuckkk. I can't get a stance like that for the life of me. When I stand like that, my hips open up and I just turn/catch an edge and I die.
MinggFirst day on the summer set up for the season!! ahh sucks we don't have anymore snow but this is sort of a nice substitute.
Kill-Roy.I've been stuck in a plateau for a couple of years now and today I finally broke out of it!! Was feeling super confident today (and I lil buzzed) and landed my first switch 180. Got a few new grabs and FINALLY attempted a front flip. I've been saying I was gonna flip for years now so I'm hyped I finally went for it. I think next time I go I'll be able to land it and might try to add a spin to it.
