Let them sit outside all day, and throw some dryer sheets in if they're really bad

go to your local sport chek or whatever sport store you have near you and go into the hockey section you will probably find this spray that is made for hockey bags i use it for my football bag it works great

probably sweaty hands, just wipe the inside out with some water, frebreeze it or just put a dryer sheet in it overnight .

Get a merino wool glove liner like the ones by Icebreaker or Smartwool.
Absorbs sweat instead of it soaking into your mittens, and you can just throw them in the washing machine when they get a bit nasty.
However in terms of making yours smell better... just get them real dry, maybe turn them inside out and let the inside air out properly.
