Replying to Interesting fact about the k2 shreditor 112 that you probably don't give a shit about
I've skied k2s forever. And just picked up a pair of the 179 shreditor 112's .For the past decade the mounting marks have been "traditional" and "core center", The true measured center of k2's have been about 12 cm in front of the traditional mark and 4 1/2 in front of the core center mark. I mount my own skis, and as I was measuring I noticed that the core center of the 112 is now only about 5 mm from the measured true center now. Again, most people don't give a shit, but if you get the shreditor 112's just know that core center is pretty much true center now. Because most people that have had non symmetrical k2's know that a "core center" mount was never a "true center" mount.
