Figured I needed to share this with you guys. Made by me and another friend, right down the street from my house in Reno, NV. We'll just say that an extremely angry truck of men drove up and violently ripped our amendment down with the force of a thousand suns like 5 minutes after I photographed it.

honestly, you're kind of contradicting yourself.
this thread brought out atheistic views that i may have, but i'm not atheist. i believe in a god of some sort, but an unspecific god. so not Jesus, or Allah, or anything like that. i believe that there is indeed something more powerful than us on earth, but i don't live my life for it. you know what i mean? probably not. whatever.

Okay, well then you see a bit where I'm coming from. I was raised in a roman catholic house, then went to a completely different youth group with this christian church. I kind of began to dislike organized church for reasons, but that's a whole different conversation haha.

The problem with the way kids get raised is they mainly learn about one Religion. That is all they know, so that makes it right?
Frenchy, if you were born into Hasidic Jewish family you would be proud to be that and not Catholic. I was raised Catholic too. Then, I realized there are other ways of thinking. I could think for myself. I used to think all other Religions were wrong and Catholics were the best. Hell at one time I thought everybody was either Catholic, and a only a few jews. That is easy for a little kid to have those ideas (especially in an Italian/Irish neighborhood in the bronx growing up, not anymore though). Having an awaking and opening my mind after the Navy has done wonders for me. I have become a better person and not so damn ignorant and close minded.
And in my opinion - what makes the Jesus Loves banner and better than a tight pussy banner? They both should not be allowed on public property if one isn't allowed. Either both are cool, or none. No in between

Just a side note here, but if you don't like religious people pushing their views on to you, why did you add a sign that is clearly anti-christian? technically it's not "anti-christian" at all... God impregnated the virgin Mary, who probably had a super tight snatch, with the son of god. The bigger point of my post was the irony that OP hates when religious people preach to him, but he has no issue with posting a big ol' sign in a public area displaying his own beliefs.
I won't get into why his "adjustments" to the sign will be interpreted as anti-christian... I have no words for someone who truly believes "Jesus loves tight pussy" is a pro-christian statement.

What base are you at in the Navy? My brother in law's in the Navy too. Ohh nice man i'm in CT. he's in VA beach on the USS Laboon, been there a few years, went down to his base this summer and he gave us a tour of the ship and shit, was pretty badass! I'll probably be joining the army within the next year #militaryfamily

decent pay? I lived paycheck to paycheck. We called ourselves the broke seaman of America. That is why so many people get married (HUGE MISTAKE!!!), just to get more money to live of base. It always backfires, DONT DO THAT!

All enlisted people in the military have the same pay grades. E-1, E-2 etc. I was 19 when I joined. My friends and I were always broke. We would blow it as soon as we got paid though. The majority of us did, it was fun. I am still paying off credit from that time in my life. And I'm not the only one. The navy isn't bad either. That is the branch I would do again if I had to. Or the coast guard.
Don't let me sound too negative, I did benefit a little. I came out a harder and tougher worker and more responsible for sure. They paid my college and between the navy and an internship I landed a great job. So definitely find out for yourself if that's what you want. I just wouldn't do it again if I had the choice. I'm not the only one either.. A lot of us on the boat had a real tough time, shit was rough.
And 21,000 a year is minimum wage pay. Add the hours of work you put in and it's below minimum. I'm not sure why you emphasized you weren't joining the navy? They gave me a 7k sign on bonus for being a electronics tech on subs and sub pay from day one. Sub pay was a few extra hundred a month

Do to my lovely job I hadnt had internet access for the last year and spent the winter in the shit hole named Texas led to a lack of NSing. But yeah I joined the Air Force and trust me the pay is not the greatest when you factor in the free housing and other benefits its not to bad, but no one joins the military to get rich. Also I would think about not going infantry. Thats just me, Check out loadmaster get to fly around the world and make per diem which is nice. as well as flight pay. feel free to shoot me a pm if you have any questions.

Yeah I didn't mean to say I wanted to join the army for getting rich, it's something I've always wanted to do, and why not get paid to fight for your country?! Lol
And tbh i'm really not that at a lot of stuff that's why the infantry would be perfect for me... I'm good at running, weight lifting and shooting. infantry seems good but if you have any other good ideas i'm open to suggestions, even though i really wanna do infantry
