Hey NS, Slvsh is a freeski matchup league similar to what Stept's Skate on Snow was. We've filmed 12 games so far. The first game, Noah Morrison vs Noah Wallace, drops tomorrow, October 14th, on http://www.slvsh.com

Wild game, both guys went HAM the whole way through, that middle section with all the dubs jut kept getting more insane (Magnus v Swadburg has only had that kinda crazy middle section when both riders end up needing to cool off, tell me if i'm wrong though!)
Such creative, stylish skiing, both evenly matched in their insanity and definitely the future... if not the present. Went so big on all of it, was amazing to see and embodied what SLVSH is all about.
Shame on the last call, not gonna give Boberg any shit tho, he knew it was tough, he didn't wanna make a call either way being last try and 4-4. Both guys looked pretty beat tbf. Hope they turn it into best of 5, or 7, or 9. Can we just have them at every resort throughout the year constantly battling?!

That game was dope, it’s exciting to see people trying new tricks and it’s hype even if they get close to landing. Not the biggest tricks ever but I was fully entertained the whole time

I said this after the cup in Henrik’s park - I’d love to see skiers of this caliber play in a park with an XXL jump line and burly challenge rails.

You have arguably the most technical rail skiers in the world skiing and probably one of the best early season parks in the world...i really doubt this cup is going to be boring. Personally the ending of this first game was a let down for me because I would have loved to see it go farther, but I wasn’t bored at all during it.

It's only if you're not first to set... so each skier gets at least one turn to set. It makes a lot of sense.

I remember hearing in the background of one of LSM's vlog things from kimbosessions that emil can't grab lead blunt spinning his natural way, so he had to do it unnatty lol

Idk that was kinda meh, like a good game, but just didn't seem like the boys were stoked. Pretty obvious at the end, especially Colby. Hopefully the conditions get better if that's the issue.

Right? At least try and throw a rodeo 5 (considering it’s Siver Voll) instead of just taking the loss like you don’t even care to be there.

Everybody who complains a single thing about this cup is nuts! First game was sick, I mean it was 14 minutes of pure pleasure watching these guys ski. Sure the end was kind of a bummer but that doesn't change the fact that everything before was good and I am pretty sure that a lot of good games will follow!

I could have sworn it was like Tom Ritsch v someone like Dale Talkington (?), idk they're just the names that popped into my head, think it's Ritsch tho but can't find any of his games that are the one I'm thinking of... Think it was at Absolut Park and someone sets a switch bio 9/10 stale and whoever is defending absolutely laces it up.
Want to find this game purely to watch that trick again... pls help

the call was 270 to switch but to do it properly you have to stop your direction of spinning and scissor to land switch, which is harder than continuing the rotation and doing a front 2 out. I get what you're saying but it's two totally different tricks.

that game was crazy. Anti and Alexi ski so fast and smooth, could have watched this game go on for days.

I’ll start this with a popular opinion that I wholeheartedly agree with - Slvsh to skiing is almost like the iPhone for cellphones. Serious game changer and I honestly don’t know where skiing would be without it.

Unpopular opinion-Slvsh humor is just the worst. Jokes like “brag” , “cork”, and “guacamole” that keep coming up are just painful. I mean seriously their making all these shirts now it’s just getting out of hand... It’s almost gotten J Skis bad.

Again, small complaint and really small price to pay for the biggest content pump in all of skiing. Just my 2 cents

Nah they are two different tricks lol. Continuing with the rotation is much easier than stopping your momentum and riding out switch. With a 270 on, your body is moving around pretty quickly, it’s difficult to stop that mid-slide.

I dont know, this isnt a hill i want to die on, it just seems to me that some clarification is needed because I thought as long as you got back to switch you were fine, kind of like how when there was a game at Whistler blackcomb, someone called a tree stall to switch, and one guy went straight up and down, while the other did a 360 back down to end up going switch so i thought this was the same
