Hey NS, Slvsh is a freeski matchup league similar to what Stept's Skate on Snow was. We've filmed 12 games so far. The first game, Noah Morrison vs Noah Wallace, drops tomorrow, October 14th, on http://www.slvsh.com

Not to knob off Henrik, but gotta just love the dude. Clearly Bellemare was a little biased as Henrik is probably one of his idols (he was just talking about how great Henrik was the whole game, even after that line where Henrik had his "backslide", Bellemare labeled it as perfect)

Regardless, you can see Henrik is super competitive not just with Simone but with himself--with the way he was critiquing himself not getting the 6 on front 2, and with the way he didn't think he got back 8 as well as he did before. But he's competitive in a really good way that gives for good vibes in a game, he was encouraging to Simone throughout, and at the end he even admitted Bellemare probably gave him some calls that he shouldn't have gotten (the switch dub 10, personally I would say someone has to specify crossed or uncrossed to make that call)

Either way, Dollo is a class act, it seems.

Technically speaking I thought it was a fair call because mute is a crossed grab and he clearly didn't cross. That said, I think it would have been within reason to give him the pass since he was on defense.

pretty sure Henrik told Simone it didn't matter what way he did the dub 10. Like Henrik said he wanted to do it the weird way just for fun, what a homie move.

A-Hall is a monster. Wish that game was during the day though so they would have hit the jump more, definitely hoping for a Dollo/AHall final.

Anyone know if they agreed beforehand to only hit rails? Surprised AHall didn’t call at least one jump or knuckle trick or a seatbelt or something.

Is the jump sketch at night time maybe?

I believe I heard Hugo say something about it being a shame the game is at night because the landing of the jump was really hard or something. Wouldn't surprise me at all though if that was the reason behind staying mostly on rails.

Thanks again for keeping this league running, the filming is always on point and it's so amazing to watch the top skiers in the world throwing down on a public resort surrounded by total jerries. My favorite match might still be Matt Wilcox vs. Taylor Wilson which has at least 3 jerries interfering with the shooting ... would especially love to know what was up with the guy at 6:05 almost trucking the athletes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux9qWZJqXW4

yeah, im glad they opt’ed out of the jump. No one needs to be sending big tricks for the first time to solid bullet-proof ice. I wouldnt care how much money they put up
