Do you fee like a traitor?

I support local over everything, so the last couple years all I have skied is 4FRNT but that's honestly because they make the skis that are perfect for me. Them being local to me has just been a huge bonus. This year I bought the 4FRNT Click over the Atomic Infamous for the upcoming season. They are just a better ski for what I want them to do but the Infamous is a stellar ski. So all my skis now are 4FRNT.

So NS, are your skis the same brand or does it vary for you?

if anything the traitor mentality happens when I buy something online instead of at the shop I always go to.

I have no brand loyalty. They aren't paying me to ride their shit so why would I care. I ride the product that gives me the most joy. If its from one manufacturer or another so be it. People get too caught up in the "I only ride this or that." Good for you, get over it, you are in the real world. As a consumer buy what works for you and shut up about it.

It just so happens that that 4FRNT makes perfect skis for my style of riding and I love that i can stick with one, local, awesome ass brand.

I just bought skis online and this did cross my mind. I feel kinda bad, at the same time though my local shop didn't have the skis or anything similar in my price range.

Kind of a shame but sometimes it is a no brainier, unfortunately.

Nope, I buy whoever makes the best ski for what im looking for. Same with buying skis, im all about the big ass online companies. same with shops, my local shops blow, just a bunch of super chill but at the same time insanely snobby hippies who dont know what they're talking about, and overcharge for products/services. give me my giant ass online ski stores any day, fuck supporting the small guys if their service sucks.

Atta boiii. Sorry you didn't like the Infamous' though I thought it was a great ski. I'm loyal to 4FRNT because they have really hooked me up in the past, make magical skis and me being a wizard is perfect, and they are local, so maybe MY situation is rare.

Rossi hasn't been very consistent with their skis. It seems like they arn't making skis that focus on one aspect. Some are getting pretty damn ugly too not that it affects your skiing at all.

For skis Im not really brand loyal but have had good luck with armada and they make a few models perfect for my style, As far as smaller companies for accessories i def support tall tee productions and tree fort lifestyles, both are on point with everything they do

ive only ridden K2 for like 4 seasons now and ive just grown to like them. It also helps that my local shop gives me two sets a year to rep them in comps

for me, being a teenager who pays for his gear, the brand loyalty thing doesn't really cross my mind when buying new gear. its all about quality and price. ive never bought something full price, other than a $15 balaclava. but im sure once i have enough saved for uni and rent for a year brand loyalty will become a much bigger factor when buying new gear.

Been riding mostly K2 recently... Honestly, I wouldn't go fro another company right now. I've just really grown on their brand and they work for me. Got 2 pairs right now (Park and pow) and would certainly go for another.

I would say I'm pretty loyal, Liberty Morphics have been my go to all mountain and groomer ski for the past 3 years, and I just picked up some Antigens last Christmas for jibbing. And it helps that they hooked me up with some free swag.

I currently own 3 different brands of skis, and I've owned like 9 or 10 different brands of skis, so no I don't feel like a traitor.

I've always bought Armada ski's because i've always been lucky and found exactly what I want at a good price. I always feel like I know exactly what i'm getting with Armada aswell.

Recently started rocking some Armada outerwear aswell, their hoodies are on point. It would seem I am loyal as I suppose in a sense I am, because their gear attracts me the most. I also like the way they do things as a company.

Again, I have alot of Oakley gear as I know it's good quality, and has alot of good features and my carrying gear is all Dakine.

In the future i'd like to try out more saga stuff, possibly virtika, and ON3P + Faction ski's. It's all about what you think will work for you.

I still have a couple pair of K2s but don't ride them anymore. I hope 4FRNT continues to make skis I love, but I can see myself venturing off to a different brand next season possibly.

I feel bad when I go to the shop and look at the skis, and then go online and buy them cheaper, and then bring them to the shop to get them mounted.

One of the guys in our crew has ridden only k2s since hes started park skiing. They're durable skis and rly fit his style so it works out

I own lots of different skis. When I raced I was strictly Nordica, skiing anything but them made me feel bad. I've owned Moment, and Atomic, but have parted ways with them.
Currently I have 2 pairs of 4FRNT, 1 armada, and 1 volkl at school with me. I feel bad for leaving my Nordica's at home, but I've slowly shifted to 4FRNT quiver.

I've had nothing but on3p's in my quivers since mid 2010.

My plan is to expand my horizons and get some other skis mixed in there this season.

ive pass trough several brands , (including getting skis for free from k2) , and i always get a different ski, depends on the deal and how much money you got to spend , im pretty sure not all here have money to spend on on3p , faction, jskis or whatever, you cant feel like a traitor for that, it depends on the money sometimes.....or preferences

I definitely like to buy On3p skis, i just like them and their image. Also i'd rather support a pure ski company than something huge like atomic or salomon. That being said i ski on a pair of Volkls for park. I bought my first 4frnt ski this year but i feel good because they seems like a pretty core ski company.

Buying stuff i feel pretty loyal to backcountry.com, i have just gotten super deals, they ship fast and i love how helpful they are. I do feel like a traitor when i buy from other online stores. Honestly i would like to support a local ski shop but i can't justify it when i can get stuff online so much cheaper.

There is no doubt that everything online is way cheaper than going to your local shop, and how awesome is it getting stuff in the mail?

4FRNTs headquarters is here is SLC so that's a big part of why I stay local. They don't hold to the prices from local ski shops who charge more than full price for a pair of skis.

I wanted a pair of ON3P Kartels real real bad..
