B.AussieThey found endo on my pelvic ultrasound so finally might do something about it. On the downside it's super rare to find endo on an ultrasound so it's probably really bad.

B.AussieEndometriosis, it's where the cells from within your uterus grow outside your uterus. It can cause scarring, bloating, chronic pain, infertility and other issues. There's been very little research done about it though because it only affects women.
MinggLike BAussie said and also because they are specialized uterine cells they still respond to your cycle just like a uterus would. So these cells can become engorged and “shed” during your cycle. Since it’s internal, the blood has nowhere to go and essentially is trapped, leading to insane inflammation until the body can reabsorb the blood. It’s incredibly painful and a really challenging illness 😔

izzyhennMy season got ended today and I’m a combo of super bummed and super fucking spooked. Got a concussion & broke my neck (c2, c4 and c5 vertebrae). Another victim of the gucci plateau. Also wear your helmet, I honestly don’t think I would’ve lived if I didn’t have it on, surely would’ve been paralyzed from the head down. izzyhennThanks for asking. I'm super uncomfortable and in a lot of pain right now. But mostly really scared and shaken up because all of the doctors are stunned that I'm not paralyzed or worse. I literally got up after the crash and skied down, and my friend drove me to the hospital 40 min away while I stabilized my own head
katrinagat damned gucci plateau. that has got to be some freaky stuff i cant even imagine it. put all your focus into healing up right so you can ski but also continue doing things like walking, talking, being a human. sending good vibes.
izzyhennDude I can't even explain the feeling, if I wasn't wearing a helmet I would have been dead. Zero damage to the helmet. Shouts giro mips lol. But yeah it's also super fucking crazy bc besides the fractures I only have a slight concussion and no other injuries. Also zero nerve damage, meanwhile my c2 fracture is my most serious one. I def have angels no doubt. Anyways I appreciate the good vibes, I'm expected to make a full recovery, gonna be a journey but I got dis!!!!
