The truth is noone really knows what happened to good ol' Gnarly Charley.. But some say he landed switch off a 50 foot step down doing the splits so bad that it ripped his body clean in half.

Some say he was helping as a guide in the whistler backcountry when an avalanche killed the rich tourist he was guiding so ol charlie decided to take this mans passport and wallet, clean himself up, and is now working as an equity partner at one of new yorks top marketing firms.
