My father owns a boot, with a flex of 160.
What is the stiffest boot you can find?

NegromancerAtomic make the Redster WC 170 with the carbon spine. I haven't seen anything stiffer.
Huck_NorrisThis is pretty much it until you get into handmade WC DH boots and shit. None of us on here could ever hope to hand-flex the Herminator's custom boots.

onenerdykidOur WC 170 is a real deal athlete product. It is the stiffest boot we offer commercially, but it is the softest configuration that the men use. Above the 170, we no longer give it a flex number but instead use our super secret injection codes for shell and cuff hardnesses. But plastic hardness is only one aspect the racers are looking for from their boots. Elite World Cup racers are actually so über-sensitive to changes in plastic types that we even have different rebound speeds within the same plastic hardness. It gets pretty complicated at the world cup level, hardness is only one part of the complex race boot equation.

MartianManThat's wicked cool. So are you saying that a lot of racers ski on boots stiffer than 170?
theSQUID.All the World Cup race guys ski the stiffest boots. So ask the euros, not Ligety cause his boots are quite soft. LOL
