Packing out full tilt liners

so how long does it take to pack out full tilt liners? ( the TW 2014 in particular ) and also how much room will it give me when they pack out? maybe a half of a size? just wondering because i just got the TW in a 26.5 and they are pretty snug in the toe box. but i tried on the 27.0 and it felt good but i could slide my heel around ever so slightly. so i went with the 26.5 because everyone said the liners will pack a bit and the liner will mold to my feet more. (note. i did have the liners heat molded at the shop) also im getting super thin performance socks to help with this but im assuming the liners will pack to feel to super comfy.

also, the boots feel pretty good im just wondering how much the liners will actually compress

You will generally get Half a size to an entire size difference once that have packed in. But did you get any footbeds? They will be te best way to create toe room.

ok thanks a bunch tom, so that means that they will be perfect when i finally have them packed out. and no i did not happen to get custom footbeds. also i asked the guy if the boots ended up being to small that they could stretch the shell. he basically told me stretching the shell wouldnt do much. is this true?

Yeah people always think that the correct size is actually too small when they are new so I'm sure you will be fine.

As for stretching not doing much I'm not sure about that. Stretching will create more space so will relieve pressure. However it's not good to stretch a shell without having a footbeds first. If you do not secure the foot with the footbeds you may just slide into the extra space making them feel no better. So maybe that was what he meant.

well he said something about how if he stretched the shell it wouldnt hold its shape or something like that.although i dont think he knew what he was talking about. im just glad i got a good fitting boot this year and hopefully wont get shinbang. as usual, BIG thanks to you tom
