Best on mountain two way radio

Looking for the best two way radios on the mountain. Want to get 5-7 so not looking to spend a crazy amount on each one. Should prob be waterproof, have long range, many channels etc.
Lets hear what you guys use.

All 2-way radios have the same maximum wattage by law, so one isn't gonna work any better than another. When I was on the ski team in college we all just used the cheap FRS radios they sell at Walmart and they worked fine. As long as you are in the same area of the mountain as your friends you'll be able to hear them but you can't communicate fron one side of a resort clear to the other side. I wouldn't worry about waterproof too much these have much simpler electronics than your cell phone or camera if you get them a little snowy they're not gonna break.
