doctor.steezeLook on this website dans comp they have a huge selection of bikes. After that just pick out a bike that you like
stupendous-manSuper helpful post my dude
The main things you want to look for are sealed hubs and bottom brackets, double wall rims, and 25/9 gearing. after that, its hard to go wrong with most bikes. dont worry about bike weight, and dont ride brakeless. check craigslist/pinkbike for people selling used bmx bikes in your area, because you can get way better bikes for a cheaper price when theyre used (usually a lot of aftermarket parts too). DansComp.com and Albes.com are the biggest online bmx stores, but id go with a used bike over a new complete.
saskskierGearing - Don't worry about 25/9 gearing. Figure out what works best for you. I preferred 28/9 and 30/9 over 25/9. I like to actually move when I pedal.
Brakeless - same as gearing. Completely up to the individual, but if you are going to go brakeless, make sure you can control yourself and you are aware of your surroundings. If you can't do that, don't go brakeless.
Custom vs. complete - Pretty much any complete is going to be pretty decent these days. Look for 100% chromoly frames/forks/bars. Most frames these days are worth upgrading the parts over time. You can't get a pretty decent used bike, but just remember buying a used bike (especially a bmx) is like buying a used WRX. It's probably going to be beat to hell. Bmx's lead hard, abused lives so be careful if going used.
