Upgrade to 70d?

I am curious to see what newschoolers has to say. I have used a t2i for 2 years now, 75% for video, and 25% for photo. The things that appeal to me about the 70d are the price tag, the increase in fps burst, the better build quality, the swivel screen, the autofocus during video, and the buttons on the body of the camera compared to my t2i. I have thought about saving up for a full frame, but crop factor isn't always a negative to me. I also like the fact that I would be able to keep the lenses I own from my t2i and use them on the 70d. My plan would be to sell my t2i for around $300 and then only have to spend around $500-$600 in addition for the 70d. Is this a good plan, or should I be convinced otherwise. Let me know. Thanks!

It's not a bad idea. Also consider the new 7D mk2 since it had 1080p60 and a 10fps burst rate with the same sensor.

Yeah, this is an extremely moot-point. AF during video is more annoying than helpful.

Do you recommend that I just stick with the t2i for now then? Or what other options would you recommend?

For video, there's not going to be that much of a great reason to go with the 70D... The video is only marginally better quality than what the T2i gives you, and the build quality isn't pro-level or anything anyway.

The 7dmk2, sure.. it has 1080p60, better build quality, and that 10fps burst and pro-level AF tracking to go with it are pretty sexy... If you already have EFs lenses and all, then it's not a bad way to go.
