RubberSoul^ i vaguely remember someone on here one time talking about using skis in the park that had been race structed/waxed or something, and he said they were like, uncomfortably fast cause wasn't used to them being so fast taking off and landing, and other things such as misjudging how much speed he would gain in X feet. any idea what he was talking about?
Probably because he went from extremely slow rail abused, no structure, and no wax skis to properly tuned skis. I had a similar thing, got my AR7's a grind and gave them a good wax and the difference is incredible. Just takes a bit of time to get use to.
Take a fast tuned ski over a slow ski any day. Nobody likes knuckling every jump when the snow gets slushy later on in the day because their skis are too slow. It sucks.
