Replying to Touring + jibbing
Hey guys, looking for some insight !
I picked up rossignol S3 (186cm) for this season (for a sick deal) and I am looking to set it up as my first touring ski + JIBBING SKI.
Its a lot to ask for from a binding or setup but its what I want to be doing.
Right now I am leaning towards potentially finding a MFD plate and choosing a binding of my choice. The concern with that is the plate affecting the ski. I know there are a lot of info about them on the web but considering my boot is 338mm in length I would need a large plate which could affect the ski. The reason I am considering this option is because of the low stack height.
If not for the MFD the other options I am considering are the look xm 13 binding or the marker baron. ( Or any other suggestions you would have). I am wearing a BD factor boot and they have the rockered toe therefor will not really be compatible with The guardians or trackers.
Living on the east coast I am not in need of a super burly binding.
Other things to consider are that I will be throwing down flips and spins.
Thanks in advance for your advice, and sarcasm.
Maxime
