Ive got a pair of Filthy Riches which are 88mm underfoot. Im going to get a pair of Tyrolia Peak 18's and dont know if the 88mm or 97mm brake would be better. Do i go with the 88 or will it be too tight? Or do i go with the 97 and have some wiggle room... or will that be too much room?

Get the 88, they size a little bigger anyway, and if your brake is too big you'll break brakes like mad.

I would go 97 that is only 9mm bigger whic. Is ideal and tryrolia brakes tend to b pretty narrow so although the 88 may fit it would not be ideal.

I would go with the 88mm. then just tweak them so the have just enough clearance.

honestly either will work. the larger one wont be a problem (5mm extra on each side is almost negligable) the 88 will be a good fit and if they are a little small can easily be bent to fit. i would honestly go with whatever is cheaper if there is any significant difference in price

also not to be that guy, but the peak 18 is a really burly binding. i would be considering, if you dont even know what size brake to get, whether you really need a 18 din binding or if the 15 will work (and it would be slightly cheaper)
