I've got straight A's and I'm badly failing A.P. English. I hate this class and the teacher makes me want to kill her. Example: That essay that can take my grade up that is always due "tomorrow". And at conferences, She just denies everything and makes me look like a shitty kid in front of my parents. This class and teacher are Evil!

This is pretty accurate. High school didn't prepare me at all for college. Try to take an interest in it and put some honest time and effort into it. It'll suck but the class only lasts so long and it's over with. Struggle now and coast later!

Yeah it does suck. But believe it or not, learning to deal with shitty people is one of the best life skills I've learned yet.

A lot of seemingly shitty high school teachers are indeed shitty. There's not much you can do about that. However, you're most likely to get a positive response from them if you're proactive, show interest, and respect them. If she's still cold after that, then so be it. Still give it your best, but feel better knowing that you tried. No harm in that.
I know it's hard to see this now, but stick it out, do your best, and get AP English out of the way. When you get to skip English 101 at college and can either hop into more advanced classes right away or have an empty schedule and party more, you'll be stoked and look back happy that you did it.
Think of all the high school in the US (and around the world) that don't offer AP classes and have even shittier teachers. Relatively speaking, you have it pretty good.
