Replying to Need Opinions on East Coast Skis
A little background on me -
The last two seasons I road the crap out of 2013 Surface Double Time 180s... Loved those skis to death, but I'm up to 9 edge cracks and I basically need to re-wax the bases every other time I ski. For any amount of fresh snow, I have 2013 Jeffery's that I love to charge around on.
This is my first season on the East Coast, and I'm looking for something to replace the Double Times. I need something that I can haul ass on and depend on, something on the stiffer side like the double times. I'll be in the park maybe 25% of the time, but only because I'm growing to like natural jibs more.
I'm leaning toward Moments right now. Thinking about the Tahoe, but not sure how they would be in the park (also a bit too directional for me). I demoed the Vice's two seasons ago and loved them. Not sure if the Frakenski would be the stiff 'all mountain' skinny ripper I would need them to be (also would love to hear some insight on the mullet rocker).
I'm not 100% committed on going with Moments. Looking forward to hearing your input.
Thanks all
