a_shaky_gifi eventually had to ski with none of the top buckles buttoned up.
A_Burgerthis is probably the worst thing you can do to fix shinbang
.realskiAlso sorry for the dub post but also it you haven't used your shins or put pressure on them in A while that could be why they are sensitive as well

tomPietrowskiI would put money on the act the boots are too big for you. Shin problems like your getting usually occur from a mismatch in your foot/leg profile an te boot. When this happens you are not really flexin the cuff so much as leaning onto it which can cause some bad pain I the shin. For example I had exactly the same thin last season. I was testing some waymaker 130's and they only had a 27 on test. I'm a 26 so I figured I could ski them for a day. They killed my shins. I then got mine in 26 and day one they were fine no shin issues at all. So like I say I would goes it's mainly to do with the size. But the hawx are prett high over the instep and if you don't have any footbeds these both those things could be having an impact too.
joriza.skitry rolling your shins out with a foam roller. it will hurt like a bitch, but it will help so much
NegromancerThis.
I was in a similar situation to you last year. I was skiing in boots to big and this really screwed my shins and made them sensitive. I got a foam roller and rolled on my shins for at least a minute everyday. For the first week or so it hurt so much but now it doesn't hurt at all.
They're also great for cracking your back, just roll over it on your back and it cracks it really nicely. Feels great.
itod910ice them every day
CHEEZEIt's simple, don't ski park with a 90 boot flex you dingus

kung_powpowBootfitter in Aspen fitted me for a 27.5 full tilt. It felt way too tight and terrible, so I told him to fuck off. I ended up getting 29.5 full tilts instead. I've gotten toebang probably twice in the 3 years I've had these boots and shinbang NEVER. I got them heat molded and it's so comfy
