Zamboni snow setup

how cold does it have to be for it to be worth it to set up a rail with snow from an ice rink? does anybody with experience know how long it would last in 40 degree weather?

You'll be fine. It will last 2 or more days if it's cloudy and under 45

You can get a whole day out of it if its sunny and 70, you'll be fine.
