The first really good pair of skis I ever owned. Dynastar S9s. Considered the best slalom skis you could buy. When I was 12 I couldn't have been more stoked.
japanadaThey also sat about 1 inch off the top of the ski they were mounted on. They did have a cool 4 screw feature that allowed you to mount your own bindings if you had the line skis of the time with the inserts, very similar to a snowboard.
yeah the knee safety stuff is one thing, but what really interested me was the goal of being able to use one pair of bindings on all your skis. all of line's skis at the time had the simple 4 screw pattern reinforced with metal, so you could quickly and easily mount unmount and remount your bindings to whatever skis you were using that day as much as you wanted
unfortunately, the whole thing was rushed and the binding was heavy AND weak. i personally saw a few pairs blow up doing nothing special

it's a salomon g suit (the g stands for gangster, no seriously it does) it's an ostentatious suit that got popular for a while. henrik wore one, and nick martini wore one, sleeveless (which is pretty g)

I wore out my old Air Raid jacket and I'm onto my second one, got it for a steal as a several-seasons-old clearance. They're still damn good jackets, mini shoulder vents are the best thing ever invented but sometimes inflate your jacket like the Michelin man.
Love it or hate it, I still reckon they look good but what do I know.
Plus you get sarcastic park skiers calling you Simon Dumont. It's awesome.

I had those pants for two seasons, and I thought they were pretty much the greatest. Handed them over to a friend for last season, and he still has them and he loves them. It was the perfect pair of of bibs for us. Not expensive, so you can get them really nice and dirty without worrying, immensely comfortable, quite durable and still sort of a shell, so functional as well.
