Transferring flips to skis?

How easy is it to transfer a flip you can do to skis? I can flontflip, webster , and lincolm loop/sideflip on flat /claim and was wondering how hard it would be to take them to the snow next year. Any replys are much appreciated.

i can do a backflip frontflip mistly and cork 7 on the tramp. im most comfortable with the backflip so i thought i would take it to snow. i built a kicker behind our cabin and just went for it. i tried about 7 times but i never landed it.

just some info on this vid: this was before i started to really get into park so it looks like i suck in this vid but im acually a ton better.

Sometimes it's the same, sometimes it's different. Fronties and backies tend to be the same as on a tramp. However Rodeos and corks are completely different on snow

when I first learned a backflip on skis I taped old skis to my feet and did them on my tramp

A Websters a frontflip off of one foot. Most of the momentum comes from whipping your trailing leg around.

actually they're pretty similar, you just gotta find that spot where you have to throw it which can be a bit tricky at the beginning. The thing that helped me most was to watch a pov vid and just go through the trick a lot of times in my head.

everything is the opposite on skis because you are moving the motion of a frontflip will actually make you do a backflip so keep that in mind

Had no idea what the hell thaf was but learned something new. Used to throw those in eith some bboy moves in highschool.

Hey man, when I learned my first flip on skis i went straight for the double. I have learned multiple hentai positions from personal experiences with my next door neighbors mother, including the dounlr front flip and double back flip positions. I went off of a steezy ramp in the trick park and I just pretended I was just doing hentai and threw that ill double frontie.

tl:dr pretend you are banging an elderly woman and throw the flip

Flips tend to feel deceivingly easy the first time you do them, especially if you think through them, like a human. Remember that when you ski you are traveling down a hill on skis and when you flip, your feet will be heavier, because you have on boots and skis and bindings. The angle of the jump determines the amount of rotation you have to do. Right? This is probably patronizing, so I will also let you in on my own experience. My first time, I hit a 2 foot jump in powder and did a "webster/knuckle front/frontflip" and landed on my back. My second time, I tried it off of a 5 foot park jump and landed in a backslap position. After that, I hit jumps that were 5 feet bigger than the last in succession. Good luck! And remember, no need to do it off a huge jump first try, girls will be more impressed that you landed a stylish flip than to see that you got injured going huge!

You mentioned Lincolns, fronts, and websters but you didnt mention backflips. If you can do these, backflips shouldnt be a problem learning on the ground. Id say learn backflips on snow first before trying Lincoln's. I could do the same on ground and a few more tricks but I had a problem with lincolns. Id end up landing switch(under flip) but i got backflips first or second try. Also if you want to know how it feels different between snow and ground; snow gives you more time do flip or do the trick as long as you have good pop, but imo its easier to land on ground almost the same tho. good luckk and dont avoid backflips, try them first before lincolns and you will have more confidence

All it shows is that you know how to use Garage Band to edit your videos and make it look like you're doing a flip.
