john18061806Don't be a dick about getting kicked out, be nice to property owners and civilians, and CLEAN UP WHEN YOU LEAVE.
OREOPRAHYou will need lighting if you plan on shooting at night. Go to lowes or Home Depot and get hooked up with some construction lights.
john18061806I've been wondering if you can use these without a generator, maybe a rechargeable battery power source? I've seen some rechargeable led work lights at Home Depot but they're hella expensive. Battery powered lights would help out with the noise a lot and price of a generator. Maybe plugging them into a car with the right adapter could work and in some situations car headlights could work too. Help appreciated on finding a rechargeable electric power source (+k)
SamPutnamnot shovel the stairs.
john18061806Solution: hit the handrail in the spring/summer when most/all of the snow has melted.
Seriously though, sometimes it's ridiculous. I hit a 90ft handrail buried in 14-28 inches of rock hard snow- wasn't shoveling that. It was kind of a fun spot because of the covered stairs- it was low risk, no bust, felt like a super long resort rail. I'd just go there by myself whenever I felt like hitting a handrail instead of my pvc rail, got a pic of it on my profile.
Fun fact: it's the first rail phil hits in keynote skier but he hit it in december with maybe 5-8 inches on the ground and being a pro, you have certain obligations...

99603CrewDamn, thats a crazy pic man.
maxaum99do you need to spray the rail with anything if it's kind of sticky so your skis don't get caught up? I've seen people scraping their skis on the rails, is that all that i should need to do?
john18061806Thanks! It's a fun rail, got closest to greasing it on my first hit, very very smooth. Posting the pic for bragging rights, the angle is a little weird because I had to prop my phone up in a tree while it shot video.
CalebTheKillianWhere is this? I want to hit that someday...
.otto.how can you tell what rails are aluminium if they are painted over
