The Steezycam Steadicam for gopro and dlsr feedback

Hey everyone! i just invented my rendition of a merlin steadicam, as of right now its made to support any gopro with any housing, and my next design model will be a model for dslrs over 5lbs. also ill be making glidecams in the near future. ill be selling these ones once finalized and cleaned up for under 100 dollars! if you look online comparing these to other handheld stabilizers youll see mine is better! here is a demo video of it with a quick sample demo of it with some walking and skating!
please give me some feedback on what you think!

fuck yea dude that looks sweet!

any way to make it a bit smaller though? with that big of a rig, I'd rather just fly a merlin or my glidecam with the actual dslr on it (although the weight difference would be pretty big)

thanks guys! i appreciate the feedback, im aiming for around the 60-80 dollar range for it! and total weight of this one is around 5lbs with the gopro attached. and yes i can bend the metal to a smaller arc on them. When i start producing my Dslr versions they will have an adjustable arc on it, as well as a 4way macro sliding plate to compensate for different models of cameras. that version i would hope for it to hold with no worry of failure around a 10lb camera setup.

if you like the glidecams ill be developing one of those as well which will be comparable to the "opteka" style glide.

ill have on hill footage within this month

^holy fuck yes please ship to canada under 100!! sick man this is perfect for teens that can't afford a dslr because they can get steady footage like glidecams with dslr's but with gopros thats perfect imo ill be picking one up

I am aiming for 2 month range, it all depends on my funding and desire for it. It seems alot of y'all want one so if I get confirmed people that will purchase I could produce sooner

Word that looks dope, and I'm very interested in one for a DSLR.

My only thought is that it's gonna be a lot harder for you to make something like this for a DSLR. I mean the weights of DSLRs are so different...like a GH4 compared to a T3i. And then some people have mics, some people have heavy lenses, some people have light lenses, etc. How do you plan to cover all of this?

Well anyway, I have a Glidecam 2000 Pro and it's the biggest pain in the ass EVER! If you could really make a DSLR version of the SteezyCam and it works well, I'm definitely interested!

Just an update for everyone, I'm working on finishing up that final version, then I shall start the dslr style! I've been doing alot of research to make sure any camera will mount up, ill get this going as soon as I catch enough money to get it made and then start my kickstarter! If I'm doing the kickstarter route I will notify y'all to see about cheaper pledge to receive one!

hey man! thanks for being interested in it, currently my amazon prime account got locked up so i am unable to get my kickstarter campaign going! I reiterate to all of you though, if you would like a final version made for you i will just give custom orders to whomever wants to toss me some cash, i went into the patent process so thats pending as well. but i would love to get some in all of your friends. if you want one direct message me and we can talk pricing time frame and what the final version will include. ill have versatile packages for whatever your need is

How do you plan to obtain a patent when your YouTube video shows that it is pretty much identical to a Merlin Steadicam, just homemade and cheaper? Merlin has a patent on theirs which allows them the sole right to prevent others from making, using, or selling something similar.

fair use my friend, they have a patent on their design but they dont have rights over similar products. case and point the dozens of over priced ones online
