recently started taking some photos and I loaded some film in my camera and when i went to wind up the film it makes a crunching noise (the film seems intact). Should I just get the film out of the camera and try again? will that hurt the camera? Right now the film is partly wound up but it wont go any farther.
btw the camera is manual and using b and w film if it matters
