Diracaced my first road test
I got one mark off on my advanced road test for putting my car into neutral at the light instead of holding the clutch in. who does that?
I got two marks off on my motorcycle test. One was for merging onto an 80km/h road at 60km/h (the road was empty, so I merged early), the other was for not shoulder checking far enough back.
caucasian_chadYou're NOT supposed to hold the clutch in. It's bad for the release bearing.

proZachWhat the fuck is an advanced road test
*TACO-DOG*always go 5 under the speed limit.
Tingain my home town there are two drivers test people. one is a lady who fails people the other is a dude that passes people. got the lady the first time and failed because I was nine inches away from the curb instead of the 8 I'm supposed to be.
spruitmAnyone who fails a road test should be black listed from driving, theres no hope for you

DeebieSkeebiesdriving isn't a right, its a privilege and should be treated like one.
MinggMy road test sucked. I passed but it was shitty. The morning of my test my dad couldn't find the insurance card and you need it in New York. So I had to take my brothers car, which I had never driven before. I definitely shouldn't have passed because I hit the curb parallel parking which is usually an automatic fail. The guy didn't take any points off tho. It was cool, but yeah definitely shouldn't have passed.
The actual driving part isn't bad tho. Literally as long as you go like 2-3 under the speed limit, over exaggerate EVERYTHING, keep 2 hands on the wheel( if you have an auto tranny) at all times, and brake smoothly you'll be good. Also, practice in the car you'll be taking.
.Steezy-McGee.I've got a road test comin up in a couple weeks. Kinda scared I wont pass but based on this thread it seems pretty easy.

JD.I failed my first time because I took it in an area I wasn't really familiar with and on a one way street the guy told me to go left and I stayed on the right side of the road. Automatic fail I guess because it is considered "driving on the wrong side of the road." It's not like I was driving against oncoming traffic I just didn't recognize the one way street sign. Second time I passed.
DingoSeanSeriously... and the American road test is fucking easy.. fucking bullshit.
In Finland it takes like 2 years to get your license. That shits legit.
