Look Pivots or Marker Jesters

I have the nordica OMW ski with a width of 82mm

The pivots cost $250, great binding but the breaks are 130mm

The jesters cost $279, also great bindings, and the breaks are 110mm

What do you need from a binding? What din do you ride? Are you a park rider or not? What bindings have you ridden how hold did they hold up?

There are a lot of grey bindings don't limit yourself to just those two.

These were the two that were recommended to me. just wondering was newschoolers thought. I usually ride with my din at 7, and i will be about half park half all mountain this year, I rode ross axial 2 120s last years on surfaces, they worked real well

Ok well you don't need to spend the money of either of those bindings. You will be fine on a 12 din binding. You could certainly ski the fks 140 or jester but they will be a bit overkill. The fks is not the best choice for park either because the brake cost a fortune. Don't rule them out but be aware that if you break a brake on any other binding it will cost about half the price to fix.

If you are looking for a quality binding at a good price check out the attack 13. If you don't min spending more the sth2 is probably the best all round binding at the moment.

get another pair of axials or px12, no need for a super high din binding if you are riding at 7, get whats durable, fits your ski, and is goo for your price range, there are plenty of bindings out there that are below 200$ and will be a better fit for you.

I would definitely recommend the tyrolia attacks. They're pretty cheap, ultra durable and have a din range that you could actually use.

Dude with an 82 mm waist you don't want either of those, you'll hardly be able to ski with brakes that wide. You'd be better off getting another binding that's just as good but with a brake of maximum about 95mm

if i was you, i'd try to find a deal on some marker griffons with a 90mm brake, since you ride a low-ish din and because you have a 82mm waist ski, any binding with over 100mm brake is a bit overkill, you'll have a lot of issues with them if you like to ski switch, they will break faster than you think.

I ride jesters and like them a lot personally although ive never used fks. Marker tend to use a lot of plastic in their bindings which saves on weight but can reduce durability.
