Atomic Punx vs. Volkl Walls vs. Fischer Nightsticks

I am 6 foot tall and 135 lbs. I ski mainly park I live on the west coast so sometimes I need them to handle a bit of powder. I do 80 percent jumps and 20 percent rails. Which skis should I get and what size?

for real though. I'd recommend the walls. I skied on them all last season. They're awesome.

All three skis are great choices! but here are a few things to keep in mind.

Punx have a slight tip and tail rocker and are a bit stiffer underfoot due to the new sidewall construction, which is great for jumps and all around skiing.

Walls are a full camber ski that is also made for jumps

Nightstick is also a full camber ski but you say being light is a issue, it has carbon fiber underfoot making it extremely stiff especially when it is cold out.


Making the choice of wanting rocker or not is what it will come down to

Punx or Wall is my opinion for you, can't go wrong with either

Lastly on size i would say the 182 Punx or 185 Wall just because you mostly do jumps and will eventually gain weight, they will be a bit stiff at first but you will quickly get used to it if you are a experienced park rider.

Fischers have carbon fibers throughout the ski, not just underfoot (just a correction) but for durability, Walls or Nighsticks, I have personally seen punx blow massive amounts of edge in only a few months (east coast ftw) but Walls usuallly last over 1 season over here and every pair of nightsticks i have seen look to be in almost perfect condition and the owners said they were amazing skis.

IMO i would go nightsticks, thats what I almost got this season and thats what I think would be your best bet

The nightsticks are the og fischer addicts and out east as a liftie i saw a ton of addicts that were still in use. They are the heaviest out of the skis you are looking at. They are the stiffest underfoot with a sheet of titonal underfoot. If you don't go with the nightstick and you are still wanting to have them/try them out the value of them will drop with fischer not having a lot of product movement.
