First serious snow storm predictions?

The Wasatch have been getting snow dust the last couple days and it is awesome to say the least seeing the best season of the year gradually approach.

Last year we got our first serious snow storm of the season in October. Well, serious enough to hike Alta and ski.

So when do you think your first big snow storm of the season will hit at your home mountain?

A basin has been getting dusted for a few days. I say within the next 2 weeks they'll see a 4 inch drop.

Also Denver got so much hail yesterday. it was deceiving :(

Low of 38 next week for 7 springs out here in PA. I'm predicting Thanksgiving opening day again.

Hopefully is starts early, but not too early, and stays storming consistently. I don't want another shitty base-layer again like last year. Utah had some gnarly avalanche conditions because of our snow mid October and then not getting anything for a little over a month. I remember us shutting down Mineral Basin for 4 days because of AV control.

Never been to California so I'm stoked. My trip will revolve around the amount of snow they get and paying attention to the weather all season in multiple states

Its normaly cold enough to skate every winter, but last year really sucked
