I mean, he drove it a few miles and got up to 55 in it...

Needless to say, a more legitimate rigging up with a smaller engine could go fucking ages if this is legit.

Its very very real. My grandpa use to tell me about a car he'd seen in LA in the early 60s that ran around 100 mpg, I believe he described it as a pinto.
