Sub and Amp Help

Ok, so im gettin 2 subs, each pushing 450 watts a piece (single 4 Ohms). Can i get an amp that pushes 1600 for just those subs or can i not do that?

id get two 100 watt amps and hook those up and get two 6 by 9 in. speakers with a capacitor to give it a litte extra juice

i have heard that the jl w7 is the most amazing sub ever. this one kid i knew had like 3 amps hooked up to them and they never blow. the amps were working so hard that they fried, and the sub just took it. those things are crazy, they take whatever you put at them.
