Replying to What FILM lense for canon 60d + glidecam?
Hey guys, heres another one of those "what lense" thread. This one is specific though!
Quick background: Im using my canon 60d with a glidecam for shooting park and urban skiing this year. The edits are going to take on a "fun" vibe, so other shoots of us just goofing around will be included in the footage. Currently I am using my canon 18-55mm kit lense.
Expectations and what im looking for: I want a lense that will be my one lense to film with. I know having multiple lenses will give the best shots and applicable uses for filming, butttttt im a poor college kid.
I want a lense that will be a good follow-cam. Ill be riding behind the riders or standing close to the features they are hitting. 10-20 feet?
I really like the look of the Tokina 11-16mm lense as far as the look of the shots and focal size.
I also like the rokinon 8mm fisheye for the cheap price....but not completely a fan of always shooting fisheye
What Im asking: What are some other options of lenses (similar to the tokina 11-16mm or rokinon 8mm) that might intrigue me and not break the bank. Im looking at spending under 400 for a new or used lense.
Let me know yo!
Much Thanks!
